The Challenge
Multiple people looking at the same complex electronic component in AR need to see the exact same thing, from their own angle, at the same time — without synchronization, each person’s AR session drifts into its own private view, defeating the point of a shared walkthrough.
Our Approach
We built this on Photon and Unity Networking specifically so every connected user’s AR session stayed synchronized to the same shared object state in real time, rather than each device running its own independent AR scan. That let a group of engineers or stakeholders look at the same virtual component from different physical angles simultaneously, the way they would with a real object on a table.
Key Features
- Multi-user AR sessions synchronized in real time via Photon and Unity Networking
- Shared visualization of complex electronic components in AR
- Built on ARKit for stable, accurate tracking per device
- Designed for collaborative technical review, not single-user viewing
Outcome
A shared AR experience letting two or more people view and discuss the same complex component together in real time, built for an electronic component manufacturer.
