The Challenge
A medical device company needed a way to observe and analyze patient brain activity under different environmental conditions in real time, with a clinician actively controlling the conditions rather than just recording a fixed experience.
Our Approach
We separated doctor and patient views as two purpose-built interfaces from the start, since a clinician steering the environment and a patient experiencing it have fundamentally different needs. Real-time brainwave sensor data was piped into the doctor’s view so changes in the patient’s environment and their physiological response could be observed side by side, supporting diagnosis rather than just demonstration.
